Capsules are convenient. Resin is canonical. The difference matters because Shilajit's value comes from its full mineral signature — fulvic and humic acids alongside trace minerals — and traditional resin form preserves that signature in a way encapsulated powders rarely match.

Powder fillers, binders and capsule shells introduce variables we do not want in a product whose entire selling point is purity. So we keep it simple: hand-harvested, slow-purified, sealed in a jar.

The process from rock to jar is short and deliberate:

• Hand-collected by mountain families above 3,500 m, seasonal only
• Dissolved in clean water, filtered through fine cloth to remove rock dust and plant matter
• Slow-reduced and sun-finished into a stable, glossy resin
• Lab-tested for fulvic acid, humic acid, mineral profile and heavy metals
• Sealed in tamper-evident glass jars, batch-stamped, dispatched from Kathmandu

Authentic Shilajit resin is glossy, dense and pliable — not granular, not crumbly, and not pourable like syrup. It pulls into a thin thread when stretched with a clean tool, then snaps back. Colour ranges from deep brown to near-black, with subtle golden flecks visible under direct light.

Counterfeits often miss one of these visual cues. Real verification, of course, comes from a lab report — not appearance alone.
